It’s a fairly miserable early January day as I write this, but I’m not complaining. I’ve spent the last couple of hours going through the photos from Rose & Denis’s wedding, back on a sunny day in late September. I think September is one of my favourite months for weddings. The autumnal light and the soft warm days are just wonderful. Love love this wedding. Denis was a character (he wanted one shot where he had forgotten to put on his trousers, and another where he is confused as he reads the paper – upside down. Very Peter Sellers!). Rose was a lady, lovely to be with, and gorgeous in her 1920’s vintage dress.
The wedding started with a first look at Rose’s family home, and then some family photos down at nearby by Lough Hyne. The three of us went up to Leap for a drink and a few more photos, before heading to Rosscarbery. The guests were waiting in the hotel, all seated and ready for the civil ceremony. After a lovely ceremony, some bubbly and chat, we headed to a nearby beach for a walk and a few more photos. I spent most of the time giggling with the pair of them, but we did stop to take a photo here and there too. Such a lovely way to spend the afternoon!I’d love to show lots and lots and lots of photos. All of them in fact! But I guess that’s not possible in a blog post, so here’s a selection
